A Young Pakistani Achiever on the World Stage: Raja Muhammad Hamza Kethwal

3

At just 11 years old, Raja Muhammad Hamza Kethwal, a Class 5 student, achieved an impressive result at the World Scholar’s Cup in Bangkok, Thailand. Competing alongside approximately 2,200 students from around the world, he represented Pakistan and earned five international medals, with notable performances in Debate and Creative Writing.

The experience was significant not only for the awards but also for the independence and confidence it required. Hamza travelled to Thailand with school fellows rather than his parents, spent 12 days on the trip and returned with medals, memories and a wider sense of what he could achieve.

A collective effort behind an individual achievement

Hamza’s success reflects his own preparation and hard work, as well as the encouragement of his mother, Dr. Irum Kalsoom Niazi, the guidance of Sir Baqi Ur Rehman, and the care of Miss Hasbella. The opportunities provided by the directors and administration of Supernova School also formed part of this journey.

A proud moment for family and country

His achievement is a source of pride for the Kethwal family, his region and Pakistan. It highlights the value of curiosity, communication, teamwork and the confidence to take part in international academic challenges.

May Hamza continue to grow in knowledge, wisdom and humility, and may further opportunities bring him continued success. Ameen.
